Customer Success Specialist

Accurat is well on its way to change how decision making is done. Due to the continous growth of our client base we're looking for extra support.

Accurat prides itself in providing its clients with an accurat and indispensary tool used for better decision making. While our products today are implemented and used by different retailers such as Delhaize & Lidl we're still adding functionality every day and are working on more ad-hoc requests from clients. 

To keep up with all the work that comes along with a succesfull product we're looking for a customer succes specialist. 

What's on your plate?

  • You'll form the brigde between clients and our data team. In that respect you'll become a specialist in our offering. With the aid of our tools you'll analyse data sets, derive insights and present your findings to clients.
  • Partner up with clients to show the value that Accurat delivers and why we are the best in the industry. 😎 You're one of the growth drivers. You'll take care of existing clients and will streamline their incoming requests. You'll ensure retention of our tools and recommend additional Accurat services when appropriate.
  • You'll facilitate the onboarding of new clients. 🐥
  • You've got CRM hygiene and will provide sales support for HubSpot ❤️
  • Our knowledge base is part of your playground (internal & external). 📚
  • Analyze customer data and trends, turn customer thoughts into focused feedback for the product, scale client requests, present our product roadmap and much more.
  • You'll help clients understand and use Accurat's powerful features to the fullest. You'll ensure the adoption of new relevant features.
  • Contribute to develop standard operating procedures for customer service; improve the customer support content (FAQs..)

Who are you?

  • You thrive on client interaction & know business opportunities when you see them. 📈
  • You've got mathematical skills. Identifying & connecting dots doesn't scare you.
  • You have a few years (+2) experience in a similar role or a client facing function such as account management, customer success, sales, or similar.
  • You speak fluent Dutch and English.
  • Strong organizational/time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • You're adaptable and resilient. You'll put out fires but also work strategically and proactively. 🔥

Accurat offers a suite of solutions to improve decision making for retailers and advertisers. We currently operate in Belgium and the Netherlands and are on the verge of expanding into additional EU countries. To support our growth we are looking for a marketing intern to join our team.


What’s on the table?

  • Analyse our current marketing and sales efforts and suggest optimisations. ✨
  • Provide content for our social media channels (linkedIN mainly).
  • Work on product whitepapers, analyse website traffic and optimise lead funnels.

Sr. Machine Learning Engineer

Our machine learning pipeline starts with millions of raw GPS coordinates of mobile users. A first model estimates the places the users visited, the event they went to and the locations they passed by (eg. billboards). In addition, a user’s home and work location are estimated, the distances he travels per day, his transport modes etc. This data is used in our audience model which calculates all audiences of the users, eg. car commuters, Delhaize visitors or people ‘having kids’. Finally, all this information is analyzed to answer questions of our clients: What is the number of visits per day at my store? What kind of audiences do I attract more than my competitors? What was the impact of my last campaign?

To maintain, improve and extend our machine learning models, we are looking for an experienced machine learning engineer to join our team. You will report to our CTO and collaborate in a team of multiple data scientists. As a senior hire becoming our lead data scientist is part of your career opportunities.


What’s on our wish list?

  • you have a master’s degree or PhD in computer engineering or a related field
  • you have a minimum of 3 years of work experience or 3 years of research experience (e.g. PhD) with Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence
  • you have strong mathematical skills (as in: statistics don’t scare the sh*t out of you 😉)
  • experience in designing and deploying machine learning pipelines
  • you can analyze data, perform statistical analysis, and clearly report your findings

At accurat.ai data is key for what we do. And we have lots of it! Our goal is to use this data to construct accurate real-world behaviour insights of mobile users. Data insights range from places and events users attend, in which context (eg. weather condition), to what estimated demographics they belong… all based on their real-world behaviour.

To make this possible, a lot of data has to be searched, collected, processed and kept up-to-date.

To help us with this great data challenge, we are looking for an enthusiast data engineer to join our team. The main responsibilities will be to construct pipelines to collect and clean data from the web (eg. real-time weather sources, government data…), in an optimal way so it can process large sets of data and keep it up-to-date.

You will report to our CTO and are part of the data team including data scientists and data engineers.

If you are looking for an internship that involves big data and allows you to prove your skills on real-world challenges, this internship might be the perfect fit.

We are currently providing internships focused on two different challenges:

1. Transport mode algorithm improvements
Our current transport algorithm detects when an individual is 'in vehicle', travelling 'by bike' or 'on foot'. To do so, we evaluate millions of coordinates on a daily basis. Coming from a pure feature engineering model, the current challenge is to improve the algorithm. You can put your knowledge about hidden markov chains or neural networks to the test. On top of that, we have access to the realtime coordinates of De Lijn (bus transport) to help improve detection of bus trips'. By mapping coordinates on railway roads, defining the 'in train' transport mode can be defined.

2. Proactive recommendations
Today, multiple metrics about customer loyalty, competitors visited by a brand's customers or popular hours (to name but a few) are calculated on a continuous basis. Too much information to see the forest for the trees... Your efforts will provide a prescriptive model that provides proactive recommendations on which metrics to evaluate in more detail. Using trend & anomaly detection models you create, you will evaluate & prioritize the metrics that needs our customers' attention.
